Do you know what to do in a cardiac, breathing or first aid emergency? The Emerson College Police Department is offering a CPR/AED class for Students, Faculty & Staff. The American Red Cross cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillator (CPR/AED) course will provide you the life-long skills that may one day help you save a life. This hands on, instructor-led, course will teach participants how to respond in a cardiac and breathing emergency, and will include the use of AEDs. Emerson College is proud to be a certified HEARTsafe community recognized by the American Red Cross.
Class is limited to 20 participants. We need a minimum of 10 participants to hold class. There is a $19.00 administrative processing fee required by the American Red Cross for certification card processing. Participants should bring a check made out to Emerson College, and in the remarks field, note 'CPR/AED 4/6/2014'. The last date to register is April 3rd.
