Emerson Closed

The College will be closed today, Monday, February 8 for day and evening classes. 

Due to National Weather Service predictions for hazardous conditions beginning mid-morning, the College is closing for the safety of our campus community and employees.

The College’s dining facilities will be open and operating on a normal schedule.  The Iwasaki Library will be open until 11pm.

Melissa Healey

Melissa is an actor and teaching artist with expertise in training the actor's voice. She has studied under the mentorship of world-renowned voice teacher, Kristin Linklater, and became a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher in 2011 at London's Central School of Speech and Drama. She is a founding member of the Linklater Voice Centre in Orkney, Scotland.

Melissa has taught in the intensive training programs at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, and at The Boston Conservatory. She teaches and coaches actors regularly on many of Boston's stages including Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and the Actor's Shakespeare Project, and has appeared as an actor most recently at New Repertory Theatre, Gloucester Stage Company, and Stoneham Theatre. Melissa is a member of the Actors' Equity Association, and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
