Merit-Based Scholarships for Graduate Students
The Office of Graduate Admission awards fellowships and scholarships to student applicants based on their past academic credentials and professional promise. All applicants who complete their admission application by the deadline will be automatically reviewed for consideration; there is no additional paperwork to fill out.
Please note: No fellowship or scholarship will be awarded for a value that is higher than the cost of tuition. Also, students enrolling in the online Communication Disorders MS program are not eligible for scholarships or fellowships.
Fellowships
Emerson College awards fellowships to applicants who are exceptionally well-qualified for graduate study. We offer four different types of fellowships: Graduate Dean’s Fellowship, Half-Tuition Fellowship, Presidential Fellowship, and Full-Tuition Fellowship.
Each program’s faculty review committee selects recipients, and awards range from $10,000 to full tuition depending on the program.
Scholarships
The Office of Graduate Admission awards numerous Emerson Community Scholarships each year to new applicants. Students are notified if they are awarded a scholarship when admitted to Emerson.
Emerson Alumni Encore Scholarship
The Encore Scholarship demonstrates Emerson’s commitment to helping our graduates stay competitive in the job market. Qualified alumni of Emerson College are eligible for a $4,000-per-term scholarship for full-time study or $2,000-per-term for part-time study.
