Rows of 17th-century gable-roofed houses reflecting in canals, locals biking over cobblestoned- streets, and a wealth of artistic riches—the Netherlands is everything you’ve imagined. Now you can experience it with fellow Emersonians, led by Emerson staff who are experts in Dutch culture and art. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to summer in Holland for a week!
Our trip begins in Amsterdam, where we’ll have a private tour of the world-renowned Rijskmuseum, take a scenic canal tour, share in a traditional meal, and more. Then we travel south, to explore Emerson’s restored 14th-century medieval castle located in the small bucolic village of Well.
For some of us, this is a trip down memory lane. It’s a chance to relive our Emerson semester abroad—and to share it with family and friends this time! For others, it is an opportunity to experience a curated, personalized cultural tour of this region of the Netherlands, close to the German border and to Amsterdam. Whatever the call, this is a trip not to be missed. Mark your calendars for August 26–31, 2023, and join us on this excursion that is sure to delight.
