Campus Access & Hours
A limited number of staff is on campus, including those who provide safety and maintenance functions. Residence directors are maintaining their on-call schedule, and you can continue to contact the Campus Life Office, which is operating with limited on-site staffing, at 617-824-8620, Monday–Friday, 8:45 am–5:00 pm ET.
Staff not working on campus will have IDs disabled. (A process for one-off needs is being developed). This is a list of critical offices with their available functions and hours.
IT Help Desk, Computer Labs, and Media Services
The Help Desk is operating entirely as a virtual support service. We will continue to offer support to faculty, students, and staff for remote work questions (e.g., Zoom, Canvas, connecting to your phone). Computer labs and the Media Services Center are temporarily closed. Until they reopen, IT is working with vendor partners to make software available for download on personal devices. Please reach out to the IT Help Desk for help with installation or to schedule a Zoom training or webinar support.
Beginning March 18, Iwasaki Library will operate as a virtual library.
Reference chat and Zoom consultation services for Spring 2020 will be available for Boston, Emerson Los Angeles, and Kasteel Well students and faculty:

EBOOKS, ONLINE ARTICLES, AND STREAMING
If you are unable to find digital versions of the print content you formerly accessed through Iwasaki Library Reserves and print book and media collections, we recommend you Ask a Librarian. Once you contact us, librarians are consulting with faculty to understand online course needs and purchasing content when possible. Let us know what is needed for you to continue learning.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN (ILL)
ILL is available to students as long as the lending library remains open. We are working with faculty to provide access to learning materials through Canvas courses, in addition to providing students access to materials for research and learning.
AMAZON SMILE WISHLISTS - KINDLE BOOKS FOR COURSE READINGS (NO VIDEO)
In some cases, ebooks are not accessible as multi-user licenses to libraries. Faculty and librarians will be consulting on accessing Kindle book content that students need to complete their coursework. Kindle books may be read on any mobile device using the free Kindle app. More information on this process will be forthcoming.
The library lobby book-drop will be open to returns when the Walker Building is open. Students who are no longer on campus can return materials in September when they arrive for the fall semester. If you are not planning to return to campus in the fall, you can mail us returns at Emerson College Iwasaki Library, 120 Boylston Street, Boston MA 02116.
