The Career Development Center offers education, resources, support, and guidance throughout every step of your career search. Our expert career counselors work one-on-one with you to help create a career plan matching your interests, experience, and goals.

You may schedule an appointment to discuss:

  • Intro to Career Development Center
  • Job Search Strategy
  • Resume & Cover Letter
  • Interview Prep
  • Networking
  • Portfolio Review
  • Internships
  • General/Other Type

Our office is dedicated to providing students with the specific resources and counseling they need to achieve their career goals. Contact undergraduate career counselor ryan_smith [at] emerson.edu (Ryan Smith) or graduate student counselor tamar_gaffincahn [at] emerson.edu (Tamar Gaffin-Cahn) if you have questions.

Graduate students: In addition to the above mentioned appointment types, you have access to career coaching. Career coaching sessions are typically 50 minutes every other week and focus on exploring your strengths, interests, beliefs, behaviors, and values to help make informed decisions and take action steps that lead to a fulfilling career and actualize your potential. Career coaching is right for you if you have one of the following questions:

  • Are you stuck figuring out what’s next for you after graduation?
  • Do you want to build new habits that encourage your professional growth?
  • Do you want to build a career based on your values?
  • Want a nontraditional career route but also want to use your valuable skills from your time at Emerson?
