Welcome to Emerson!

The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday and on select Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are pleased to offer a number of campus tours and additional in-person programming. Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, we have implemented the following guidelines to prioritize the safety of our staff, visitors, and the Emerson community. We expect visitors to abide by all guidelines and visitor policies.

Before Your Visit

Walk-In Visitors

We recommend all visitors register for a campus tour at least 2 days in advance. Walk-in visitors will only be accommodated for a guided tour if space permits. Those who arrive on campus without a confirmed appointment are invited to download our self-guided walking tour, which can be found on the Emerson app. Paper versions of the tour are also available outside of the Visitor Center or upon request. Please note that we are a closed campus, as such, our buildings are not open to the public. This means that there will be no access available inside our facilities or theaters unless you are a registered guest on an official guided campus tour.

Face Coverings

All students, staff and visitors are required to wear 3-ply face coverings/masks, covering both their nose and mouth, for the duration of their time on campus. This includes outdoor spaces. One 3-ply mask will be provided for all guests.

COVID-19 Symptom Check for Visitors

If anyone in the traveling party or household exhibits any of the symptoms below, tests positive for COVID-19, displays symptoms of COVID-19, or has been exposed to COVID-19 within ten days of their scheduled visit, we ask that you please stay home and we will work to reschedule your visit.

*Are you experiencing any new fever > 100.0 degrees F?
*Are you experiencing any chills?
*Are you experiencing any new cough (new onset or worsening of chronic cough)?
