Amber Primm has experience as a set designer for theatre, as well as a designer/art director for low-budget films. She is a card-carrying member of U.S.A. Local 829 as a scenic artist, and this work is her daily bread and butter. With a firm foundation in the traditional fine arts as a painter and sculptor, the ability to communicate as a designer through drafting and model building, Amber is well versed in the variety of skills needed to create a cohesive look for any film.

She has been a guest artist/speaker for a variety of institutions including Wellesley College, Emerson, Salem State University, and Gordon College. This is her first time teaching as an Affiliated Faculty at Emerson and she is honored for the opportunity to help students learn the power of visual storytelling.
