Kirsten Whitten, Ph.D. is a consultant and lecturer of public relations, crisis communication, digital/social media and integrated marketing communication with more than 30 years experience in marketing and public relations. Co-owner of GT Graphics and Marketing, an integrated marketing communication company, Dr. Whitten earned her Ph.D. in communication with a focus in PR from Regent University. She has an MA in IMC from Emerson College and a BA in English Writing and Literature from Wheaton College. A member of PRSA Boston, she has received awards from the Publicity Club and and has been published in the IABD Business Research Yearbook. Dr. Whitten has lectured on the subjects of PR, crisis communication, social/digital communication, and IMC in numerous classrooms, conferences, trade shows and training engagements.
