Marissa Friedman (she/her) is a dramaturg, writer, editor, and educator, as well as the Marketing and Communications Manager at the Art, Culture, and Technology program at MIT. She is an Affiliated Faculty member in Emerson College’s Department of Performing Arts, and serves as the Dramaturgy Advisor.
As a dramaturg, Marissa has worked at: Jewish Plays Project, Fresh Ink Theatre, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, the American Repertory Theater, the Moscow Art Theater, Long Wharf Theatre, the Atlantic Theater Company, Westport Country Playhouse, the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and Bard College.
