Sally Moran Davidson holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University and a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University. She specializes in international finance, macroeconomics and economic history. She served as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Columbia University, teaching courses on Financial Economics, Macroeconomics, and the American Economy and as the faculty advisor and coach of Columbia’s College Fed Challenge team.  She taught economics and finance courses with the Bard Prison Initiative and Columbia University’s Center for Justice and currently teaches with the Emerson Prison Initiative.  She currently serves as a Patient Advocate for the Specialized Program in Oncology Research Excellence (SPORE) in pancreas cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, as a Family Advisor on McLean Hospital’s Patient-Family Advisory Committee and as a member of McLean Hospital’s Women’s Mental Health Leadership Council.  She also serves on the Board of Advisors and as a member of the Development Committee at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School.  She previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Tenement Museum.
