Alicia Carlson is a senior marketing manager at Sperling. With more than 20 years experience in marketing, communications, and media production, she specializes in integrated marketing strategy, brand development, content marketing, and creative storytelling across the transportation, tourism, financial services, technology, healthcare, and higher education sectors.

At Sperling, she leads integrated marketing campaigns, brand strategy, business development, and creative initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients. Her work has included managing a $1 million national tourism campaign, leading award-winning social media initiatives, developing brand positioning strategies, and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that have increased revenue, strengthened brands, expanded audiences, and driven measurable business growth. Her work has been recognized with a 2026 Telly Award for Social Video Series in the Travel & Tourism category.

She also led the content strategy and creative development of MassByTrain.com, a website promoting rail travel throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and supported Keolis, operator of the MBTA Commuter Rail, on marketing and visual storytelling initiatives supporting the 2026 FIFA World Cup rider experience.

Before joining Sperling, she held marketing and communications roles at Moderna and Emerson College, where she led digital content and video initiatives supporting institutional branding, enrollment, and fundraising. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade directing live broadcasts at Boston’s 7NEWS (WHDH-TV).
