Amelia Broome is a certified Linklater voice teacher with over twenty years experience teaching voice, speech, and musical theatre. She has served as dialect coach for the Lyric Stage, Speakeasy Stage Company, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and the Huntington Theatre Company.

Selected performance credits include: NextDoor Theatre: A Little Night Music (Desiree); Lyric Stage Company: Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), Rich Girl (Eve), Kiss Me Kate (Lilli Vanessi/Kate); Gloucester Stage Company: Spring Awakening (Adult Female) (2014 IRNE nomination), My Old Lady (Chloe); New Rep Theatre: Master Class (Maria Callas); Next Door Theatre: Steel Magnolias (M’Lynn); SpeakEasy Stage Company: Next Fall (Arlene), Adding Machine: A Musical (Mrs. Zero), The Light in the Piazza (Margaret Johnson) (2009 IRNE award best actress), Jerry Springer at the Opera (Zandra/Irene/Mary); Foothills Theatre: Tea at Five (Katharine Hepburn) (IRNE nomination best solo performance). Film credits include Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson.
