Amy Beecher
Assistant Professor, School of Film, Television, and Media Arts
Amy Beecher is a multimedia artist working in digital imaging, performance, and installation.
She has performed and exhibited artwork at The International Center for Photography, Hesse Flatow Gallery, Essex Flowers, and Meulensteen Gallery curated by Legacy Russell (New York, NY); Storm King Art Center (New Windsor, NY); The Lewis Center at Princeton University (Princeton, NJ); Tiger Strikes Asteroid, The Print Center (Philadelphia, PA); Providence College-Galleries (Providence, RI); and The Dorrance Hamilton Gallery at Salve Regina University (Newport, RI).
Beecher’s residencies include those at The Macdowell Colony (Peterborough, NH), Shandaken Projects and Chashama (New York, NY), and The Vermont Studio Center (Johnson, NY). Her work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art Library, Providence College, and The Smithsonian Institution.
