Bindi Kang

Dr. Bindi Kang is a theater and performance studies scholar and dramaturg, whose work explores cultural history and performance across East Asia and Asian/American diasporic communities.
Holding degrees in Theatre and Performance Studies (PhD, CUNY Graduate Center) and East Asian Languages and Cultures (MA, Columbia University), she is especially interested in how theatrical, digital, and everyday performances shape cultural memory, identity, and belonging.
Dr. Kang has also been the dramaturg in residence at Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America in New York City.
