Daniel Gaucher
Professor, School of Film, Television, and Media Arts
Daniel Gaucher is a veteran television editor and producer with over 20 years of experience in major media hubs, including Los Angeles, New York, and Boston.
From establishing the visual style of reality hits like Blind Date and Queer Eye, to editing high-end documentary content for PBS and the Discovery Channel, his work has been broadcast globally across nearly every major cable and network outlet, from NBC to National Geographic to MTV.
Beyond the editing suite, Gaucher is a leader in global film education. From 2018 to 2026, he directed the Global BFA in Film Art, a collaborative degree between Emerson and Paris College of Art that immerses students in the film cultures of Boston, Paris, and the Netherlands.
