Erin Trahan

Erin Trahan is a documentary filmmaker and arts journalist. For the last two decades, she has reported on independent filmmaking for outlets such as 90.9 WBUR and the Boston Globe.
When The Independent Film & Video Monthly transitioned to an online magazine, she served as its editor and oversaw the preservation of the magazine’s archive. She also edited its books on film distribution and contributed to Independent Female Filmmakers: A Chronicle Through Interviews, Profiles, and Manifestoes (Routledge, 2019). The Independent is now a student-run publication at Emerson.
