Felicity Ratté

Dr. Felicity Ratté specializes in 13th- and 14th-century Italian painting and architecture. Over two decades of teaching at Marlboro College, she developed an interest in Southeast Asian art and architecture, Islamic art, architecture of the Mediterranean world, and contemporary public art. She is the author of the book Picturing the City in Medieval Italian Painting (2006), a study of architecture and urban design across the Mediterranean Sea from the 12th to the 14th century. She has also published numerous articles. She is continuously striving to make her art history offerings globally inclusive, approaching her field in a cross-disciplinary way.
