Hal Lewis

Hal Lewis is an award-winning television producer with more than four decades of experience leading large-scale unscripted, factual, and documentary projects. Throughout his extensive career across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms, he has overseen production budgets collectively valued at over $500 million.

Most recently, Lewis served as a line producer at A+E Factual Studios, managing strategic planning, physical production, and multi-million-dollar budgets for concurrent non-scripted series across platforms like A&E, Amazon, and Hulu. His previous roles include line producer for HGTV’s hit series Love It or List It at Big Coat Media, executive vice president and head of production at Hot Snakes Media, and led production at The Culinary Entertainment Agency.

During his 18-year tenure as head of production for CBS Eye Productions, he directed over 40 original non-fiction programs that earned industry honors, including an Emmy Award for Flight 93, a Grammy Award for Charles Kuralt’s Spring, and a Peabody Award for A Walk Through the 20th Century with Bill Moyers.
