Karen English

Karen English enjoys a career in publishing that has included editing books, newsletters, digital content, and award-winning magazines in a variety of focus areas.

As an editorial consultant, she provides copyediting, developmental, and text editing services, as well as proofreading and copywriting for publications, marketing collateral, and public relations materials. Periodical titles have covered topics of general consumer and specialty interests, such as gardening, lifestyle, cooking, personal finance, travel, and Indigenous advancement in STEM fields.

Among the wide variety of clients whose publications she has worked on have been book publishers, nonprofits, airlines, healthcare providers, financial services companies, and professional associations. Prior to joining Emerson, her college-level teaching experience included courses in history and French.
