Kevin Mercuri

Kevin Mercuri is the founder of Propheta Communications, a full-service public relations agency based in New York recently named a Top FinTech PR Agency of 2026 by the public relations industry journal, Everything PR, and a Top Crisis Communications Firm by The Manifest.
Prior to founding Propheta Communications, Mercuri served as senior vice president at 5W Public Relations, where he played a key role in the agency’s ascent from a bootstrapped start-up to an Inc. 500 company. He also led public affairs campaigns in Washington, DC, for the Internet Alliance, the Interactive Gaming Council, the AIDS Action Council, and other special-interest groups.
At Emerson, he serves as the faculty advisor for the College’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter.
