Kirsten Whitten

Dr. Kirsten D. Whitten’s professional experience spans 35 years as a principal executive, small business owner, and independent consultant. As a member of PRSA Boston and a professional advisor for PRSSA Emerson, Dr. Whitten has been sharing her industry expertise with students and professionals alike for more than 20 years. This includes her passion for connecting students to like-minded professionals as mentors, business contacts, and possible employers.

Dr. Whitten has won several industry awards, presented at several conferences, and has published hundreds of articles, white papers, op-eds and feature stories for trade and mass media focusing on banking, real estate, dry cleaning, hotel management, food service industries, non-profit organizations, as well as human interest stories. She is also a certified trainer of INTRIVITY, an online assessment for understanding verbal and non-verbal communication styles.
