Dr. Marcio Santetti is an applied economist whose research agenda focuses on how business cycles intersect with income distribution (namely, the falling wage share of income), and with the natural environment, especially primary energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.

His work has been published in outlets such as Metroeconomica, Review of Social Economy, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, and the Review of Political Economy, among others.

Dr. Santetti has taught a wide range of economics courses at different institutions, including statistics, econometrics, and macroeconomics. Currently, he is one of the coordinators of the Economics minor at Emerson.
