Mary Shertenlieb

Mary Shertenlieb is an instructor in the Writing Studies Program in the Department of Writing, Literature, and Publishing. Her work has appeared in the Boston Globe and elsewhere.

Shertenlieb’s teaching and research interests include memoir, rhetoric and composition, and environmental writing and studies. She was a standards editor at Turner Broadcasting and a copy editor for Ploughshares, and a writing consultant at the WARC.
