Nancy Hamann is a Boston-based artist, costume designer, graphic designer, and educator. She operates Nancy Hamann Art as a freelance illustrator, designer, and art instructor.

Hamann served as the costume director for the Huntington Theatre Company from 2005 to 2018, where she oversaw all costume production for Huntington’s two venues. Her diverse background also includes working as the soft goods manager at National Fiber Technology, supplying specialty textiles to theme parks and museums. Nancy also served as costume director at Yale Repertory Theatre and South Coast Repertory Thetre. She has taught costume technology and textiles at the Yale School of Drama, Boston University, and Bridgewater State University, in addition to Emerson College.

Her fine art has been widely exhibited across Massachusetts, including juried features at the Fay Chandler Emerging Artists Awards and Galatea Fine Art, and she is the founder of Arts on Centre in West Roxbury, MA.
