Robert Brown

Dr. Robert E. Brown is a former corporate speech writer for the CEOs of two Fortune 500 companies, the author of The Public Relations of Everything (Routledge: 2014), and senior editor of The Global Foundation of Public Relations (Routledge: 2021).
He was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the PR Club of New England in 2018, and was the Joanna Fussa Distinguished Teacher at Harvard University Extension in 2004. He is an editorial board member of several PR journals, and has written numerous articles for the Boston Globe.
Dr. Brown is a professor emeritus at Salem State University. His family includes his wife, Delia Cabe, a senior affiliated faculty member at Emerson; his son, Sasha, a musician; and a granddaughter, Teagan Miranda-Brown.
