Shana Dumont Garr

Shana Dumont Garr is a curator, writer, and educator whose practice centers collaborative research, artist-centered dialogue, and socially engaged contemporary art.
Through exhibitions, writing, and interdisciplinary programming, she explores the intersections of regional histories, public memory, and community engagement. Her doctoral research examines how video art creates new forms of witnessing through moving images and mediated memory.
