Shana Lloyd

Shana Lloyd is a Writers Guild of America screenwriter, filmmaker, and performer hailing from suburban Maryland.

Lloyd established Crisis Management Productions in May 2011 as a vehicle to produce more socially relevant, female-driven content. Their debut film was the short, Crisis. She also has TV projects of her own in development, as well as with her longtime collaborator and writing partner, Alison McKenzie. Their film Heaven Down Here, starring Hamilton’s Krystal Joy Brown and the legendary Phylicia Rashad, won an NAACP Image Award for Rashad’s performance.

Lloyd is currently an affiliated faculty member at Emerson College Los Angeles and AFI. She has also been an instructor and campus director at SOCAPA Los Angeles, and has worked with her mentor, Jen Grisanti, at NBC’s Writers on the Verge (now NBC Launch).
