Wyatt Oswald

Dr. Wyatt Oswald is an environmental scientist interested in climate change and its impacts on ecosystems and human societies. In his research, he analyzes natural archives, like lake sediments and tree rings, to reconstruct past changes in climate, vegetation, and fire. He has worked in Alaska, the Western U.S., and New England.
Dr. Oswald is a research associate at the Harvard Forest, Harvard University’s center for research and education in forest ecology and conservation, and he serves as an associate editor for the journal Quaternary Research.
