Alex George is a writer, a bookstore owner, and the founder of the Unbound Book Festival. His novels include A Good American, Setting Free the Kites, and The Paris Hours, and have been translated into more than 10 languages.

George’s distinctions include Library Journal’s Best Book of the Year, multiple Indie Next picks, Book of the Month Club, and the Missouri Prize for Fiction. In addition to his novels, his writing has appeared in the Washington Post, LitHub, and numerous other publications.
