The Web & Digital Services team supports the core mission of Emerson College by devising intuitive, scalable, and compliant solutions and strategies in the digital space. Our core services range from digital marketing campaigns to website development.
Digital Marketing & SEO
To engage with all audiences relevant to Emerson College and to promote brand awareness, we work with you to create focused paid and organic digital marketing campaigns that facilitate audience-based engagement.
We also provide SEO audits and refinements not just for key institutional marketing efforts but for the site as a whole through work on our internal Google Custom Search.

While our principle charge is emerson.edu, we actively support many other front-facing Drupal and Wordpress websites operated by the College. We also provide theming resources for internally developed and both purchased and hosted third-party solutions.
Additionally, we manage infrastructure behind the Emerson College native app.

Website Projects & Maintenance
For help with creating new pages, web writing, search engine optimization (SEO), general content development of existing pages, or to learn more about your webpage analytics and stats, please fill out a Project Request Form. We will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the project and arrange an initial meeting.
Department or Non-Department Blogs
With a WordPress blog, users can make updates without content approvals, promote initiatives via a public website, or foster internal communication. These WordPress sites are ideal for the following categories:
- Non-Departmental Websites/Blogs. This includes student organizations, committees, and counsels affiliated with Emerson College who wish to have a web presence. (Example: Emerson Channel, EVVY Awards)
- Departmental Blogs. These are companion blogs or sites to official departmental emerson.edu sections. (Example:Grad Life Blog)
Please Note: Prior WordPress knowledge is required. Web Services will only host these websites; we will not provide support for customization beyond the initial set up and downloading new themes.
