As the Associate Director of Education Abroad and Domestic Programs at Emerson College, Rebekah Dale is responsible for managing a variety of global programs, including ELA, Kasteel Well, DC, Berklee Valencia, and Non-Affiliated Programs. She also serves as the primary scholarships and fellowships advisor for the office. Prior to Emerson, Rebekah worked in education abroad at Mercer University and Suffolk University where she also advised on scholarships and fellowships such as Fulbright, Peace Corps, Boren, Gilman, CLS, and Fund for Education Abroad. As an undergraduate, Rebekah studied Hospitality & Tourism Management at Purdue University with a minor in Spanish. As a Pell Grant recipient (high financial need), she wound up being able to participate in 6 study abroad programs to 7 countries (Spain, Switzerland, Australia, Portugal, the UAE, Oman, and Colombia) for free through the support of scholarships and financial aid. She then obtained a master’s degree in International Education, Policy and Management from Vanderbilt University and taught English in Spain for 3 years. Rebekah has led 7 short-term study abroad programs around the world, including programs in the UK, Costa Rica, Cuba, and Israel & Palestine. During the summer of 2022, Rebekah also had the privilege of completing a Fulbright-Hays Seminar Abroad in Norway. She is currently a semi-finalist for the Fulbright International Education Administrators Award to India.
