 Agaptus Anaele, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Marketing Communication at Emerson College, Boston. His teaching and research interests are in digital media and strategic health communication campaigns, engagement and social change, and technology and peacebuilding. His published work has appeared in Journal of Communication, Journal of Health Communication in addition to book chapters and presentations in national and international conferences. Dr. Anaele teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in digital culture, advertising, and e-Commerce. Anaele leads the Digital Marketing Trends of Business and Health Promotion in Africa, an immersion program that provides opportunity for students to explore the creative ways that local institutions (public, private and non-profit) utilize digital technology to transact business and contribute to the social good in Ghana. In addition to attending classroom sessions, participating students visit global and Ghanaian advertising firms, health and development organizations and engage with Ghanaian faculty and students.
