Ed Lee is a comedy writer who has written for TV sitcoms, animation shows, and awards shows. He is currently developing Becoming Eddie, based on his autobiographical short film, into a streaming series with Sony Pictures Television and Ken Jeong. He also writes on series for Nickelodeon, Dreamworks Animation, and AppleTV+.
Prior to joining the faculty at Emerson, Ed wrote for television shows such as The Drew Carey Show, Class of 3000, G.I. Joe: Renegades, and Are You There, Chelsea? Ed was previously a faculty member at the American Film Institute Conservatory, USC School of Cinematic Arts, and UCLA Extension. In addition to writing for television, Ed was involved in sketch, improv, and storytelling at iO West, Westside Comedy Theater, and Upright Citizens Brigade Theater LA.
