Jessie Koffman has been named the new Head Coach of the Emerson Lions Women's Lacrosse team. Koffman joins after resigning as the Head Coach at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Koffman was in her position at Wentworth starting in 2014 and her final year was this past season. Koffman led the Leopards to their best ever season in 2017.
Koffman was a Division III collegiate athlete, competing in the Commonwealth Coast Conference where she was previously coaching with Wentworth. As an athlete for Curry College, Koffman totaled 121 goals for the Colonels in 39 games over two seasons. She earned First Team All-CCC selection in 2011.
Koffman began her head coaching career at the high school level in Massachusetts. She was Head Coach at Dedham High School, and helped the team to 17 wins over three seasons. She led the Marauders to Massachussetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament for the first time in her final season in 2013.
