Lynn Conners is an experienced clinical instructor, mentor, guest lecturer, and certified Early Intervention specialist. Her areas of special interests include infants and toddlers that are deaf/hard of hearing, supervision, reflective practice, preschool speech and language screening, and family-centered practice.
At Emerson, Conners coordinates the Robbins Speech Language and Hearing Center which includes the Thayer Lindsley Family-Centered Program, the Program for Acquired Communication Disorders, the Program for Developmental Communication Disorders, the Program for Speech Improvement, and the Transgender Voice and Communication Program. Conners teaches an undergraduate course in Field Experience and two graduate-level courses in Clinical Methods. She supervises graduate students as they evaluate and provide intervention to promote the development of speech, language, auditory perceptual, and play skills of young children within individual therapy settings, parent-infant groups, and parent support groups.
