Mia comes to Emerson from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where she led the Enterprise Systems team since 2010. Previous to Wentworth, Mia had been with the University of New Hampshire for ten years implementing and managing enterprise applications. In her early IT career, Mia worked as a computer programmer in Newfoundland Power, Canada. After over 20 years of experience managing administrative systems in higher education, Mia is very excited about joining Emerson to help lead the College through transformational change in the Workday project. Among others, Mia’s holds an information technology degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the College of North Atlantic in Canada and an MBA degree on Organizational Leadership from Norwich University in Vermont. Mia is inspired to lead and mature the enterprise team, and to use her leadership, strategic thinking, and extensive technology planning and stakeholder relationships building skills to deliver superior services to the Emerson community. Mia likes travelling and biking, and enjoys cooking authentic food for her family and friends.
