Recurring Gifts

Take your gift one step further and set up Recurring Giving. Monthly credit card donations are an impactful way to support Emerson assuring a steady flow of support, and allowing the College to save on postage and processing fundraising expenses. Matching Gifts

Gifts of Stock

Stocks and securities giving can offer many benefits to you as a donor. By giving long-term appreciated securities such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, you may be able to receive a double tax benefit—a charitable deduction and avoidance of capital gains tax. Is my gift tax deductible?

Can I specify where I want my gift to go?

Absolutely. Emerson has many funds to choose from that meet a wide variety of interests, from financial aid to athletics, programmatic support, student organizations, and more. Can I pledge a gift and pay it over time?

Yes! There are several ways to fulfill a pledge, including scheduling monthly or annual payments.

What is the difference between current-use and endowed funds?

Gifts to current-use funds immediately go to work impacting the lives of current students, while endowed gifts are assets that are invested in perpetuity, providing Emerson with ongoing operating income for future generations.

Is there a minimum amount needed for endowing a gift?

Yes, at Emerson College you can establish an endowed fund at $100,000. There are also minimum levels for naming current-use funds, which you can learn more about by contacting Martina Beccari, Director of Annual Giving, at martina.beccari [at] emerson.edu (martina[dot]beccari[at]emerson[dot]eduu).

How do I put Emerson in my will?
