The Emerson College Headshot Photo Booth, located on the 2nd floor of Walker, 120 Boylston Street, is a resource for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to obtain high-quality digital headshots for career, academic, and personal branding purposes at no cost. The booth is accessible during normal operational hours of the Walker Building and no appointment is necessary.

How it Works

The Emerson College Headshot Photo Booth is self-service with a touch screen, high-quality lighting, and camera equipment. Watch this short video to see the booth in action.

When your session begins, you will enter the booth, sit on the adjustable stool, and follow the prompts on the screen. You will be asked to enter your email address and accept the terms to continue.

To take and edit your photos, follow the prompts on the screen. Edits include: teeth whitening, blemish removal, skin softening, etc. You may further edit your photos after your session on your own device.

The booth will take a series of three (3) photos during your session. You must have all 3 photos taken during your session for the photos to be saved to the system. Your photos are immediately emailed to you for downloading and you may edit at your convenience.

Emerson College is not responsible for lost or unsaved files.

How Alumni Can Access the Booth

To use the Headshot Booth, you will need a Library Privilege Card. If you don’t already have one, you can apply online. Once you have your card, you can use it to enter the Walker Building and access the library. The Headshot Booth is located on the second floor of the Walker Building.
