Qualified students may apply to spend either the Fall or Spring semester at UADE.

Students may apply to one of the following academic tracks:

Direct Enrollment - Spanish

Intended for native/heritage Spanish speakers or students with a high proficiency in Spanish, this track allows students to directly enroll in a number of UADE’s courses across all disciplines and take courses with local Argentine students.

Direct Enrollment - English

Intended for students with zero-to-moderate Spanish proficiency, this track allows students to select from a very limited number of English-taught courses at UADE with a mix of Argentine and international students.

Business in Latin America

Taught all in English, this speciality program offers a set of required and elective courses including Leadership & Negotiation, Human Resources Management, Global Marketing & Sales, Strategic Management, and Spanish Language. Students engage with the Latin American business environment in a cohort model. *Only for students with junior or senior standing.

Emerson students enrolled at UADE have the potential to meet General Education requirements and possibly progress towards majors/minors dependent upon approval from academic departments. The exchange program is most aligned with the Marketing Communication, Communication Studies, Public Relations, and Business of Creative Enterprise majors as well as Business Studies and Entrepreneurship (E3) minors.

Students secure independent, off-campus accommodation with the assistance of UADE and engage in campus-based activities and student organizations. Students also are paired with a local student in an Argentine Buddy Program.

Eligibility

The UADE Exchange Program is open to qualified sophomores, juniors, and first semester seniors in good conduct and academic standing. The minimum cumulative grade point average requirement is 3.0.

Students taking courses in Spanish will be required to present a certificate of language proficiency at the B2 level.

Students taking the Business in Latin America track must have junior or senior standing.
