Mason received his undergraduate degree from the University of Roehampton, his MA from the University of Denver, and is currently pursuing a PhD in counselling psychology and applied human development at Boston University. Alongside counseling, he has also worked as a mental performance consultant for the past 4 years, working with a variety of populations in individual and group settings across a multitude of domains to enhance and enrich their performance experience. His therapeutic style is mainly rooted in mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches and focuses on supporting students to explore and identify who and what is most important to them, and subsequently using these insights to foster a rich, full, and meaningful life. Mason’s clinical interests include working with anxiety, substance use, career development concerns, and student-athletes. In his free time, Mason enjoys playing soccer, going to the movies, and all the good food Boston has to offer. Mason will be joining ECAPS through May 2021.
