Amanda Warren is a medically focused speech-language pathologist working in the Boston area. She has a special interest in neurologically based disorders in both the adult and pediatric populations, but her daily work includes diagnosis and treatment of patients with a wide variety of disorders. She has extensive experience in outpatient, acute care, rehabilitative care, skilled nursing, and home care environments. Professor Warren has a strong interest in dysphagia management, palliative care, augmentative communication at the end of life, and patient-family advocacy and education across the life span. She teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level in speech-language pathology. She also creates online CEU courses for SLPs. She is passionate about mentorship and clinical education, and regardless of what content she is teaching, she does so through the lens of wanting to bring up clinicians who are passionate about critical thinking.
