Brad Lemack is an award winning, Los Angeles-based talent manager and entertainment publicist, educator, author, content creator, business consultant and coach. He has been a professor of performing arts, public relations, communications and marketing at the Emerson College Los Angeles Campus since 1995. He is the recipient of the college's prestigious 2022 Alan L. Stanzler Award for Excellence in Teaching, the first Los Angeles campus faculty member to receive a college-wide award.

He is author of four popular books for actors, The Business of Acting: Learn the Skills You Need to Build the Career You Want, first published in 2002 and The New Business of Acting: How to Build a Career in a Changing Landscape, first published in October 2010, The New Business of Acting: How to Build a Career in a Changing Landscape - The Next Edition, first published in 2018, and The New Business of Acting: COVID Update, published in 2020. His most recent book explores the impact of the pandemic on the industry and offers details on how to create an action plan to get back to work in the "new normal" landscape. 

Brad is also the host of the YouTube series Inside the Business of Acting (InsideTheBusinessOfActing.com) and writes The Business of Acting Blog at TheBusinessOfActing.com. Additionally, he is a regular contributing columnist for Backstage.

After a 10-year on-air and production career in Boston radio and television, Brad relocated to Los Angeles to accept a position as a publicity executive for Norman Lear's Tandem/TAT Productions (later Embassy Television, now Sony Pictures Television), where he was responsible for the episodic and series publicity of the company's network hits at the time, which included The Jeffersons, One Day at a Time, Archie Bunker's Place, Diff'rent Strokes, The Facts of Life, and Square Pegs, as well as several after-school specials, syndicated programming and movies for television.

In 1983, he left that position to establish his own agency, Lemack & Company Talent Management/Public Relations.

Since then, the communications company has established itself in the areas of content creation, entertainment, personality and book publicity, branding, and business and not-for-profit public relations, special event creation and production. Lemack & Company also excels in talent management and career development for actors. Lemack & Company specializes in career development and redevelopment for new, emerging and established artists.

In 2002, Brad launched a publishing division of Lemack & Company, under the banner Ingenuity Press USA, also based in Los Angeles. Through his role as Publisher at IPUSA, he developed and edited numerous non-fiction books, including Acting and How to Be Good at It and Acting and How to Be Good at It: The Second Edition, by noted character actor and acting coach Basil Hoffman. He also contributed to the book of the musical Bark.

Brad launched the website RerunIt.com in 2006 as a destination for pop culture fans. The site features clips of interviews from his talk show host career with actors, producer, directors, writers and others who have helped shape American pop culture through film, television, radio and other platforms.

Brad has created numerous popular courses for Emerson College Los Angeles, including The Business of Acting, The Business of the Business, Improv Comedy UCB and Entertainment PR. Over the years, he has also contributed to the development and reimagining of the College's Los Angeles internship program and taught an academic course component of the acclaimed program.
