As vice president of student affairs, Christie Anglade shapes an exceptional student experience across all of Emerson College’s campuses. She leads a range of student-focused departments that support personal growth, well-being, and a strong sense of community, reflecting the richness of the College’s vibrant and varied student population. Partnering with executive leadership and campus colleagues, she works to ensure that students from all backgrounds have the access, support, and opportunity to succeed, contribute meaningfully, and lead with confidence and purpose in an increasingly interconnected world.
Previously, Anglade served as associate dean for campus life, overseeing Housing and Residential Education, Community Standards, and Student Engagement and Leadership. She joined the College in 2019 as the director for housing and residential education. Prior to Emerson, she worked in campus life and student affairs roles at Bentley University, Boston College, Michigan State University, and the University of New Haven.
She has been an active leader in the field of student affairs, serving on the host and planning team for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators’ Small Colleges and Universities Institute for Vice Presidents in 2022 and the National Housing Training Institute in 2016, presenting at regional and national conferences, and developing curricula for professional institutes and conferences.
Anglade holds an MEd in higher education and student affairs administration from the University of South Carolina and a BA in psychology from Western New England University. She is also a Certified Human Resources Specialist.
