Emily Blumberg graduated from Tufts University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development, and from Emerson College in 2001 with a Master of Science degree in Speech. She received the FIRST YEARS Certificate in Auditory Learning for Children with Hearing Loss from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. In 2002, Emily joined Minute Man Arc Early Intervention and helped create the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialty Program which was modeled after the Thayer Lindsley Family-Centered Program at Emerson College. Emily runs her own private practice serving Acton and the surrounding area, and has served as a Clinical Instructor in the Robbins Center since September 2020 where she primarily supervises graduate student clinicians in the Thayer Lindsley Family-Centered Program.
