Scenic Designer, Janie Howland, designs scenery at venues such as Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Weston Playhouse, Speakeasy Stage Company, Nora Theatre Company, New Rep, Boston Conservatory, New England Conservatory, American Stage Festival, New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, Emerson Majestic, Wheelock Family Theatre, Boston Children's Theatre, among others. Exhibit design can se seen at Mass MOCA with CONSENSES through May 2019.
Janie has been awarded 8 times by the Boston theatre critics for outstanding design, is a member of USA Local 829, and is a founding member of CYCO Scenic, Design and Production Company. She also teaches at Wellseley College.
