Dr. Selig has taught at Emerson College for more than 30 years, during which time he has served as head of the film program, chair of the department of Visual and Media Art, and now as the MFA program director. He is the former Editor of the Journal of Film and Video, the publication of the University Film and Video Association, and he has published scholarly work on a range of subjects in cinema studies. He regularly teaches the foundation course in Media Studies in the MFA program, and just completed a graduate seminar on horror in international film.
