Ceremony Broadcasts
All of our graduation ceremonies will be broadcasted live with closed captions in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Visit emerson.edu/live for the broadcast at the scheduled time. You can view past graduation ceremonies on YouTube!
Health and Safety
For the safety of all, Emerson may at its discretion, or under the direction of government or health authorities, change ceremony plans regarding modalities, activities, or venues. Additionally, venues may choose to adopt more stringent requirements and it is important to visit and revisit their websites as the ceremony nears.

Diplomas
Diplomas are overseen by the Registrar's Office and will be mailed to the address on your Intent to Graduate form by Parchment.com. You will be asked to confirm your name and address just before mailing. Please contact registrar [at] emerson.edu with diploma related questions.
Photos
Graduation photos will be provided by The Grad Team. The Grad Team will email you when your photos are ready. If you have questions, please contact help [at] thegradteam.com (help[at]thegradteam[dot]com).
Videos
Graduation videos will be provided by StageClip. StageClip will email you when your video is ready. You will be asked to answer a question for Alumni Relations before receiving the clip. If you have questions, please contact talk [at] stageclip.com (talk[at]stageclip[dot]com).
Class of 2025
The Commencement website will be updated with more details for the Class of 2025 in the fall of 2024.
Emerson College holds graduation ceremonies once a year in May for graduates of the current academic year (September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025). If you will earn your degree in December 2024 or in August 2025, your ceremony will be in May 2025. Speech@Emerson graduates will have their own graduation ceremony. Graduating students may only participate in the ceremony that coincides with the academic year of their degree completion.
In order to graduate each student must first complete an Intent to Graduate form. Once the Registrar’s Office reviews and approves your form, you will be added to the Class of 2025 email distribution list and receive information from the commencement [at] emerson.edu (Commencement Office).

Speech@Emerson Graduate Hooding Ceremony
This is the ceremony for master's degree recipients in the School of Communication Speech@Emerson Program.
The Speech@Emerson Graduate Hooding Ceremony for December 2024 graduates will be on December 15, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. On October 21, 2024 approved graduates will be able to register for the December ceremony, order 4 guest tickets, and join a waitlist for 2 more tickets. Regalia will be available for purchase from Herff Jones.
Speech@Emerson May and August graduates will have their own graduation ceremony on August 17, 2025.
