The Emerson College Library is pleased to make the Presidents Room available for cultural or literary events that support the Library's mission. These include, but are not limited to, the annual Emerson Authors event and poetry, prose, and fiction readings by writers affiliated with the College.
Because the Presidents Room contains between 35 and 53 of the Library's study seats and events here can affect the copy machine area and current periodicals, there are limits to when events can be scheduled. In general, it is possible to schedule events between May 1 and September 30, or in January. From October through December and February through April, events may be scheduled only if they take place on Friday nights or Saturdays, or if they occur during break periods.
Requests should be sent to the Library Director, who will determine if the event is appropriate for the Library and can be accommodated at the time required.
