The purpose of the new minors and certificates proposal process is to ensure that when Emerson College begins a new minor or certificate it has fully considered all of the aspects that will make them successful. Additionally, this proposal process allows the College to assess how minors and certificates are aligned with the current strategic plan and with the general direction of the College’s academic mission. Lastly, comprehensive vetting of all proposals from across offices allows for greater support.

Refer to the proposal process and form. The Associate Provost for Academic Programs is the main point person for faculty putting together a proposal. They will help with guidance, review, and feedback.
